Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use {又...又...} to describe two qualities or actions happening at the same time for the same subject.
- Use it for two positive or two negative adjectives: {又大又圆|yòu dà yòu yuán} (big and round).
- Use it for two simultaneous actions: {又哭又闹|yòu kū yòu nào} (crying and making a scene).
- The subject always comes before the first {又}.

- نقدها: توصیف غذا، فیلم یا محصولات (مثلاً «ارزون و خوب»).
- آدمها: تعریف (یا توهین) ویژگیهای کسی.
- حالتها: وقتی همزمان چند حس دارید، مثل «گرسنه و خسته» (又饿又累).
- کارهای همزمان: گاهی با فعلها استفاده میشه تا نشون بده کسی داره دو کار انجام میده، مثل «آواز خوندن و رقصیدن» (又唱又跳)، اگرچه این کمی با «انجام X در حین انجام Y» متفاوته.
اشتباهات رایج
- تله «و»: مبتدیها عاشق استفاده از 和 (و) برای وصل کردن صفتها هستن. بس کنید. شما نمیتونید بگید 漂亮和聪明. 和 برای اسمهاست (پیتزا و برگر). برای صفتها، نیاز به 又...又... دارید.
- حال و هوای قاطی: همونطور که گفتیم، مثبت و منفی رو قاطی نکنید مگر اینکه بخواید گیج به نظر برسید. 又便宜又难吃 (ارزون و بدتزه) از نظر گرامری درسته اما مثل یه شکایت عجیب به نظر میاد. معمولاً، احساسات مشابه رو گروه میکنیم.
- اسم ممنوع: شما نمیتونید این رو با اسم استفاده کنید. نمیتونید بگید «من دانشجو و گیمرم» با استفاده از این الگو. اون نیاز به 是...也是... داره.
