Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'tamma' or 'jara' followed by a verbal noun (masdar) to create a passive voice without changing the verb's internal vowel structure.
- Use 'tamma' (تمّ) for completed actions: 'tamma bina'u al-bayti' (The house was built).
- Use 'jara' (جرى) for processes or events: 'jara tawzi'u al-kutubi' (The books were distributed).
- Always follow these verbs with the masdar (verbal noun) of the main action.

tammaやjarāを、元の目的語（muḍāf ilayhi）に合わせて性数変化させてしまうミスです。例えばtammat taḥdīthu al-barnāmajiと書くべきところを、al-barnāmajが男性だからといってtammaにしてしまうのは間違いです。あくまでmaṣdar（この場合はtaḥdīth）に合わせます。 - 3
