Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

währendは der Nebensatz（従属節）を作ります。ドイツ語では言葉を置く場所が変わるため、これは大きなポイントです。通常の文では、動詞は通常2番目の要素です。しかし、währendは「動詞キッカー」です。活用した動詞を蹴っ飛ばして、節の最後尾に追いやってしまいます。das Handy（スマホ）と die Hausarbeit（宿題）のことを同時に話すなら、その動詞から目を離さないようにしましょう。2つの動作の間の時間の架け橋として機能します。主節から始めても、während節から始めても構いません。währendから始める場合、その後に続く主節は動詞で始まらなければなりません。これは「カンマ・動詞サンドイッチ」ルールです。複雑に聞こえるかもしれませんが、ホーム画面のアプリを並べ替えるようなものです。レイアウトさえ覚えれば、あとは体が覚えます。動詞を途中で迷子にさせないように！
Formation Pattern
währendを使った文の作成は、特定のロジックに従います。毎回正しく作成するために、以下の手順に従ってください：

Common Mistakes
während ich im Urlaub bin と言うべきところを、während ich bin im Urlaub と言ってしまいがちです。覚えておいてください。動詞は während 節で最後に言うべきことです！もう一つの間違いは das Komma（カンマ）を忘れることです。ドイツ語では、カンマは必須です。カンマなくして平和なしです。また、多くの学習者が während を wenn や als と混同します。wenn は「〜の時／〜なら」（繰り返しや未来の出来事）、als は過去の特定の時点に使います。während は厳密に期間と重なりのための言葉です。最後に、前置詞としての用法に注意してください。während は der Genitiv（属格）を伴う前置詞（例：während des Essens）にもなります。これは書き言葉では一般的ですが、友達との der Chat（チャット）では少し堅苦しく聞こえます。日常会話では接続詞としての用法を使いましょう。Contrast With Similar Patterns
