Em português, a gente usa o imperativo plural: Olhem!, Venham!, Comam!. No árabe, a gente também tem uma forma específica para isso, que é o Imperativo Masculino Plural. Olha só, não se assuste com o nome masculino.
No árabe, essa forma é o padrão para qualquer grupo que tenha pelo menos um homem ou, simplesmente, para um grupo misto. É o nosso vocês ou o famoso pessoal do Brasil.
Em português, a gente tem o imperativo que conjuga o verbo conforme a pessoa, mas no árabe, a estrutura é um pouco mais matemática. Se você já estudou um pouquinho de verbos, sabe que o árabe adora mudar o formato da palavra para indicar quem está falando ou agindo. Esse imperativo plural termina com o som de -ū (como em uktubū).
É uma ferramenta essencial para o seu dia a dia. Se você ficar usando a forma singular (ya habibi, meu amigo), você vai soar como se estivesse falando com uma pessoa só, o que pode ser bem confuso para o grupo. Aprender isso é o seu passaporte para parar de parecer um turista perdido e começar a agir como um local.
É direto, é prático e, o melhor de tudo, é muito consistente. Vamos nessa?
### How This Grammar Works
Para entender o imperativo plural no árabe, a gente precisa olhar para o verbo no tempo presente. Sabe quando você diz vocês escrevem (Antum taktubūna)? O imperativo nasce exatamente daí.
A lógica é quase uma cirurgia de precisão: a gente pega o verbo, corta o prefixo que indica vocês e dá um trato no final para a ordem ficar curta e grossa. Em português, a gente tem a conjugação imperativa (ex: escrevam), que é bem parecida, mas no árabe, a gente tem essa regra da raiz do verbo que é muito mais rígida.
Um detalhe que vai te deixar de cabelo em pé no começo, mas que depois vira automático, é o tal do Alif silencioso (o الأَلِفُ الْفَارِقَة). Ele aparece no final de quase todos os verbos no plural, mas a gente não pronuncia nada! Ele serve apenas como um marcador visual.
É como se fosse um sinal de trânsito que diz:
Ei, esse verbo está no plural!
. Em português, a gente não tem letras silenciosas desse jeito no final de verbos, então é natural que você queira pronunciar esse Alif. Mas ó, respira fundo, ignora ele na hora de falar e foca no som do u longo.
Outra coisa interessante é a comparação com o português: enquanto a gente no Brasil usa muito o vocês + verbo, o árabe é uma língua mais sintética. O próprio verbo já carrega o vocês dentro dele. Se você disser Isma'ū (Escutem!), você não precisa dizer vocês (Antum).
O verbo já faz o trabalho completo. É muito mais eficiente, né? É tipo mandar um áudio no WhatsApp: você quer ser rápido e direto.
O imperativo árabe é o áudio de 5 segundos da gramática.
### Formation Pattern
Vamos pegar o verbo kataba (escrever) para você ver como é fácil. Siga estes passos:
  1. 1Pegue o presente para vocês: تَكْتُبُونَ (*taktubūna*).
  2. 2Remova o prefixo تـ (*ta-*): sobra ـكْتُبُونَ.
  3. 3Como o árabe não gosta de começar palavra com som de consoante sem vogal (o tal do Sukun), a gente coloca um Alif de ajuda no começo: اُكْتُبُونَ.
  4. 4Corte o ن (*nūn*) do final, que é o sinal de que a frase virou uma ordem: اُكْتُبُوا.

É muito comum em situações de comando, como um professor pedindo para a classe sentar: اجْلِسُوا (*ijlisū* - Sentem-se!). E lembre-se: se tiver um grupo de 50 mulheres e 1 homem, você ainda usa a forma masculina plural. É a regra do guarda-chuva gramatical.

  1. 1Pronunciar o Alif final: A gente tem o hábito de querer ler tudo o que está escrito. Você vai ver اكْتُبُوا e vai querer falar o a no final. Não faça isso! O Alif é um fantasma, ele não tem som.
  2. 2Manter o ن (*nūn*): Em português, a gente não muda a terminação do verbo ao dar uma ordem, então a gente esquece de cortar o ن. Se você disser تَكْتُبُونَ, você está apenas dizendo vocês escrevem (uma afirmação). Para virar ordem, tem que cortar esse ن.
  3. 3Confundir a vogal do Alif de ajuda: O Alif de ajuda pode ter som de u ou i. A gente tende a usar o a para tudo por causa do nosso alfabeto. Mas calma, é só observar a segunda letra do verbo original. Se tiver um u lá, o Alif ganha um u. Se não, ganha um i. É treino!
