-ando و -iendo استفاده میکنیم، ولی برخلاف انگلیسی هیچوقت اونها رو به عنوان اسم (فاعل جمله) به کار نمیبریم.
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
The Spanish gerund adds '-ando' or '-iendo' to verbs to describe actions currently in progress.
- For -AR verbs, drop the ending and add -ando: Hablar -> Hablando.
- For -ER/-IR verbs, drop the ending and add -iendo: Comer -> Comiendo.
- Use the gerund with 'estar' to form the present continuous: Estoy comiendo (I am eating).

ing- در زبان انگلیسی است. برای ما فارسیزبانان، درک این مفهوم بسیار مهم است، زیرا این ساختار به ما کمک میکند تا «تداوم» و «در جریان بودن» یک فعل را بیان کنیم. در دستور زبان فارسی، ما برای بیان تداوم از پیشوند «می» در فعلهای مضارع اخباری استفاده میکنیم (مانند: دارم میروم).Gerundio به تنهایی نمیتواند به عنوان فعل اصلی جمله به کار رود؛ بلکه همیشه به یک فعل کمکی نیاز دارد.Gerundio دقیقاً همان نقش اسم مصدر یا صفت فاعلی را دارد، اما باید بدانید که در اسپانیایی، این شکل فعل بیشتر «قیدی» (Adverbial) است. یعنی به ما میگوید که یک عمل «چگونه» یا «در چه حالتی» انجام شده است. در فارسی، ما برای این منظور از قیدهای حالت یا جملات پیرو استفاده میکنیم، اما در اسپانیایی با استفاده از Gerundio میتوانیم جملات را بسیار کوتاهتر و طبیعیتر بیان کنیم.Estar + Gerundio است. نکتهای که باید به آن توجه کنید این است که Gerundio در اسپانیایی یک شکل «غیرصرفی» (Non-finite) است؛ یعنی نه زمان دارد، نه شخص و نه شمار.Estoy comiendo (دارم میخورم)، فعل estoy بارِ زمانی و شخصی جمله را به دوش میکشد و comiendo فقط مفهوم «خوردن در حال انجام» را منتقل میکند. این ساختار در اسپانیایی به عنوان یک «پریفراز» (Periphrasis) شناخته میشود. در فارسی، ما گاهی از عباراتی مثل «در حالِ...» استفاده میکنیم تا این تداوم را برجسته کنیم.Él está leyendo un libro است. تفاوت اصلی در این است که در اسپانیایی، این ساختار بسیار رایجتر و منعطفتر از ساختار «در حالِ» در فارسی است و تقریباً در هر موقعیتی که کاری در لحظه در جریان باشد، استفاده میشود.Gerundio بسیار قاعدهمند است. شما باید انتهای فعل (Infinitive) را حذف کرده و پسوند مناسب را اضافه کنید. در جدول زیر این الگو را مشاهده میکنید:hablando | در حال صحبت کردن |comiendo | در حال خوردن |viviendo | در حال زندگی کردن |y استفاده میکنیم. مثلاً leer تبدیل به leyendo میشود. این در فارسی معادل ندارد و صرفاً یک قاعده آوایی در اسپانیایی است.Gerundio در زبان اسپانیایی به سه بخش تقسیم میشود:- 1توصیف عمل در لحظه (Present Progressive): وقتی میخواهید بگویید دقیقاً الان چه کار میکنید. مثال:
Estoy estudiando(دارم درس میخوانم).
- 1توصیف نحوه انجام کار (Adverb of Manner): این کاربرد در فارسی بسیار جالب است. مثلاً برای گفتن «او با خندیدن وارد شد»، اسپانیایی میگوید:
Entró riendo. در اینجاriendoبه ما میگوید که او «چگونه» وارد شد.
- 1استمرار در طول زمان: با فعلهایی مثل
seguir(ادامه دادن)، میتوانید بگویید کاری همچنان ادامه دارد. مثال:Sigo trabajando(هنوز دارم کار میکنم).
Gerundio اسپانیایی این مفاهیم را بسیار فشردهتر بیان میکند.- 1استفاده از Gerundio به عنوان اسم: فارسیزبانان گاهی فکر میکنند میتوانند از
Gerundioبه عنوان فاعل جمله استفاده کنند (مشابه انگلیسی). مثلاً میگویندComiendo es bueno(خوردن خوب است). این غلط است! در اسپانیایی باید ازInfinitivoاستفاده کرد:Comer es bueno.

Estarرا بیاورند. در حالی کهGerundioبه تنهایی میتواند نقش قیدی داشته باشد. اشتباه رایج:Él entró y estaba cantando(او وارد شد و داشت میخواند) در حالی که بهتر است بگوییدEntró cantando.
- 1تداخل با زمان حال ساده: فارسیزبانان به دلیل ساختار «میروم»، گاهی تفاوت «من میروم» (عادت/آینده) و «من دارم میروم» (الان) را در اسپانیایی رعایت نمیکنند. باید دقت کنید که
Gerundioفقط برای «الان» یا «تداوم» است، نه برای عادات روزمره.
Infinitivo (مصدر) بیشتر نقش «اسم» را بازی میکند و Gerundio نقش «قید» را. این تفکیک در فارسی به این دقت وجود ندارد و ما اغلب از یک شکل برای هر دو استفاده میکنیم.- 1آیا میتوانم از Gerundio برای آینده استفاده کنم؟ خیر، در اسپانیایی
