-ㄴ/은 지 + time + 되다 to talk about the duration since an action last happened.
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use -(으)ㄴ 지 to express how much time has passed since a specific action occurred.
- Attach -(으)ㄴ 지 to the verb stem of the action.
- Follow with the time duration (e.g., 10분, 3년).
- End with '되다' (to become) or '넘다' (to exceed) to complete the thought.

How This Grammar Works
-ㄴ/은 지 é bem literal. A parte -(으)ㄴ é um modificador que transforma o verbo em uma descrição no passado. A palavra 지 é um substantivo dependente que se refere especificamente a um período de tempo decorrido.지 é um substantivo próprio, você deve colocar um espaço antes dele. Geralmente, esse padrão é seguido por uma duração de tempo e depois pelo verbo 되다 (tornar-se/passar) ou 넘다 (exceder).

When To Use It
Quando você começou a estudar coreano?, você dirá:
한국어 공부한 지 6개월 됐어요. É perfeito para entrevistas, redes sociais ou para acompanhar a entrega de um pedido. Se houver um relógio ou calendário envolvido, use -ㄴ/은 지.
Common Mistakes
지. Em coreano, -(으)ㄴ지 (sem espaço) é uma gramática totalmente diferente para perguntas indiretas. Além disso, não use com o futuro. Você não pode dizer faz dois dias desde que irei para Paris.
