Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'anstatt... zu' to express an alternative action by placing the infinitive at the end of the clause.
- The subject must be the same in both parts of the sentence: 'Ich lerne, anstatt zu schlafen.'
- The 'zu' + infinitive always goes to the very end of the clause.
- If you have a separable verb, 'zu' goes between the prefix and the stem: 'anzurufen' becomes 'anzurufen'.

Anstatt اون کاری رو معرفی میکنه که انجام نشده. جمله اصلی به ما میگه که واقعاً چه اتفاقی افتاده. جادو با das Verb (فعل) اتفاق میافته.zu رو هم بیاری. مهمترین قانون؟anstatt dass نیاز داری.das Videospiel (بازی ویدیویی) میمونه. تو جادوگر رو انتخاب کردی «به جایِ» (anstatt) اینکه جنگجو رو انتخاب کنی (zu nehmen).

anstatt شروع کن (یا اول جمله اصلی رو بیار).
zu رو دقیقاً قبل از فعل مصدری بذار.
zu میره وسطش.
anstatt + [مفعول] + zu + [مصدر].

anstatt شروع کنی، جای فعل توی جمله اصلی عوض میشه. فعل اصلی بلافاصله بعد از ویرگول میآید. این همون قانون «فعل در جایگاه دوم» هست. آلمانی عاشق جایگاه فعلهاست. مثل der Tanz (رقص) میمونه. یه قدم اشتباه برداری، پات گیر میکنه به die Syntax (نحو) و میخوری زمین! اگه از فعل جداشدنی مثل aufstehen استفاده کنی، میشه aufzustechen. نذار اون zu گم بشه! اون چسبیه که جمله باکلاست رو نگه میداره.
کی استفاده کنیم
das Zoom-Meeting برای پیشنهاد دادن ایدههای بهتر. برای نظرات آنلاین درباره محصولات عالیه: «این رو خریدم به جایِ (anstatt) اینکه اون یکی رو بخرم (zu kaufen)».die Uni (دانشگاه) به جایِ (anstatt) اینکه توی تخت بمونم (zu bleiben)». توی نوشتههای اداری برای مقایسه استراتژیها یا انتقاد مودبانه از یه تصمیم خیلی رایجه. یه لایه از «چی میشد اگه» به حرفات اضافه میکنه.das Streaming ازش استفاده کن. «دارم نتفلیکس میبینم به جایِ (anstatt) اینکه مشقام رو بنویسم (zu machen)».
اشتباهات رایج
zu استفاده کنی. باید از anstatt dass استفاده کنی. این یه تله کلاسیک توی امتحانهای C1 هست. یه اشتباه دیگه، فراموش کردن ویرگوله. آلمانیها روی ویرگول وسواس دارن؛ ویرگولها مثل سرعتگیر برای چشمات هستن. ازشون استفاده کن. بعضیها هم zu رو کلاً یادشون میره و فقط مصدر خالی میارن. اینجوری شبیه آلمانی حرف زدنِ تارزان میشی: Ich essen Pizza anstatt lernen. لطفاً این کار رو نکن، تو از تارزان بهتری! همچنین حواست به جایگاه
zu توی فعلهای جداشدنی باشه؛ هیچوقت اولش نمیاد، همیشه مثل einzukaufen هست. در نهایت، با ohne... zu (بدونِ اینکه) اشتباهش نگیر. Anstatt یعنی «به جایِ اینکه». اگه رفتی «به جایِ» اینکه خداحافظی کنی، این یه انتخاب بوده. اگه رفتی «بدونِ» اینکه خداحافظی کنی، این یعنی بیادبی! یا شایدم توی فیلم جاسوسی هستی؟ اگه اینطوره، آلمانیت باید بینقص باشه!مقایسه با الگوهای مشابه
anstatt... zu ساختار statt... zu رو ببینی.Statt فقط مدل کوتاهترشه.der Kaffee با شکر یا بدون شکر میمونه؛ اصلش یکیه. حالا این رو با anstatt dass مقایسه کن.dass برای فاعلهای متفاوته: «من منتظر میمونم به جایِ (anstatt dass) اینکه تو بری». این خیلی پیچیدهتره. بعدش `um... رو داریم که هدف رو نشون میده (برایِ اینکه). اما Anstatt... zu` یه جایگزین رو نشون میده.anstatt رو هم برای اسمها (بدون فعل) با حالت Genitive یادت نره: Anstatt eines Kaffees trinke ich Tee. اینجا فعل نداریم. اگه فعل بخوای، باید بری سراغ ساختار
