Making a batter with a blender might not make the best cake, but it might make your best cake, especially if you plan on serving it with some sweet cream and fresh strawberries, which is exactly what we're going to do.

And to get started, let's take care of the least exciting step first, which would be to place a piece of parchment paper in an oiled loaf pan or a loafshaped glass baking dish like I'm using here. And once that's been papered,
