Use -는 경향이 있다 to describe a recurring habit or a general tendency of a person or situation.
- Attach -는 경향이 있다 directly to the verb stem: 먹는 경향이 있다 (tends to eat).
- For past tense, use -은/ㄴ 경향이 있다: 먹은 경향이 있다 (tended to eat).
