Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'lhe' to replace 'a ele' or 'a ela' when someone is the recipient of an action.
- Use 'lhe' for singular recipients (to him/her): Eu lhe dei um presente.
- Use 'lhes' for plural recipients (to them): Eu lhes contei a verdade.
- Lhe/lhes are gender-neutral; they work for both men and women.

lhe و lhes في المواقف التي نريد فيها تجنب التكرار الممل. تخيل أنك في اجتماع عمل وتتحدث عن مديرك: «أرسلتُ للمدير التقرير، وأخبرتُ المدير بالمواعيد». هذا تكرار سيء. بالبرتغالية تقول: Enviei o relatório ao gerente e lhe informei os horários. هذا يجعل كلامك يبدو بليغاً.telefonar (يتصل)، responder (يجيب)، pagar (يدفع)، agradecer (يشكر). مثال: Agradeci-lhe pela ajuda (شكرته على المساعدة). لاحظ هنا أننا نستخدم lhe لأن الفعل agradecer يتطلب مفعولاً به غير مباشر (أشكر لـ فلان).- 1خلط المباشر بغير المباشر: يخطئ الطلاب العرب باستخدام
lheبدلاً منoأوaمع أفعال مثلver(يرى) أوconvidar(يدعو). السبب هو التداخل مع العربية، حيث نستخدم «الهاء» كضمير متصل في الحالتين (رأيتُه، أعطيتُه). تذكر:lheفقط إذا كان هناك حرف جرaمحذوف. - 2التردد في الموقع: ينسى الطالب العربي أن البرتغالية الأوروبية تفضل اللصق بالفعل (Enclisis) بينما البرازيلية تفضل التقديم (Proclisis). هذا التردد يجعل الجملة تبدو غير طبيعية.
