Devanagari numerals are the traditional script digits used in Hindi; learn the shapes ०-९ to read signs and prices.
- ० (0) is called 'shunya' and looks like a small circle.
- १ (1) to ९ (9) follow a distinct shape, often appearing on older signs or formal documents.
- These digits are written left-to-right, just like Arabic numerals (0-9).

الگوی ساخت

२ (do) - دو. شبیه '2' است که فراموش کرده دمش را تمام کند.
३ (teen) - سه. شباهت زیادی به '3' با کمی تزئین اضافه در پایین دارد.
४ (chaar) - چهار. این یکی گولزننده است. شبیه یک روبان یا عدد '8' دستنویس باز است.
५ (paanch) - پنج. بسته به دستخط شبیه '4' یا 'y' است.
६ (chhay) - شش. در واقع تصویر آینهای ३ در دواناگری است.
७ (saat) - هفت. شبیه یک قلاب کوچک یا عدد '6' وارونه است.
८ (aath) - هشت. شبیه حرف 'M' یا عینکی است که به پهلو گذاشته شده.
९ (nau) - نه. شبیه عدد '1' است که روی دستهایش ایستاده.
کی استفاده کنیم
1، 2، 3 استفاده میکنند. اما اینجا جایی است که خط دواناگری میدرخشد:- اسناد دولتی: گذرنامهها و شناسنامهها اغلب از این اعداد استفاده میکنند.
